General assessment- The combination of 1737 and 1236 cm-1 is consistent with an ester motif.
- The 2920 and 2853 cm-1 absorptions support saturated or largely aliphatic C-H environments.
- The leading library candidate, methyl prop-2-ynoate, is at least chemically consistent with having an ester carbonyl and C-O bond.
The reference library comparison is not discriminating: the top candidates are chemically inconsistent with one another and all have similarity reported as 0.000.
