The spectrum exhibits characteristic methoxy C–H stretching at 2827 cm⁻¹, along with strong C–O absorption bands at 1087 and 1026 cm⁻¹, and aromatic ring breathing modes at 1576 and 1476 cm⁻¹. A free O–H stretch at 3628 cm⁻¹ indicates the presence of a hydroxyl function, likely phenolic. The overall pattern is consistent with a substituted aromatic structure. Further characterization by NMR spectroscopy would help clarify the substitution pattern, especially given the ambiguity of the high-frequency O–H band
